
Paco Varoch
Born in Alzira (Valencia, Spain), Paco Varoch studied at the Conservatorio Joaquin Rodrigo. In 1992 he moved to Paris for further study with Philippe Pierlot and a year later he enrolled at The Royal Conservatoire The Hague, Netherlands, studying with Prof. András Adorjan and Marianne Henkel-Adorjan.
Paco has played invited by Claudio Abbado in the Orchestra Mozart and Lucerne Festival Orchestra since 2008.
Paco is a permanent guest in Mahler Chamber Orchestra (Daniel Harding), Les Dissonances (David Grimmal), MusicAeterna (Teodor Currentzis), Camerata Bern and Orquestra de Cadaqués (Jaime Martin). He also has been invited by Chamber Orchestra of Europe, Orchestra de Paris and Orquesta de la Comunidad Valenciana.
He is the founder and artistic director of La RemembranÇa, his lively interpretation of Vivaldi ́s Concertos in dialogue with contemporary compositions often leads to unusual and surprising insights.
As a soloist, he has performed with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Galicia, Orquesta Vigo430, Sinfónica de Antioquia and made his international solo debut with Mahler Chamber Orchestra in the Festival Internacional de Música de Cartagena, Colombia.Very active inside the chamber music arena Paco has collaborated with the soloists of the Mahler Chamber Orchestra playing "Into the Little Hill" composed and conducted by George Benjamin, Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg and the "Moonwinds" ensemble created by Joan Enric Lluna and regularly perform with the pianists Carles Marin, promotes commissions for piccolo and piano having pieces dedicates by the composers Cesar Cabedo and Jesus Santandreu.
Paco ́s teaching activity has seen him collaborate with OrchesterZentrum NRW in Dortmund, JONC (Youth Orchestra of Catalonia), NMFA (Nuevo Mundo Festival&Academia) FJC (FilarmonicaJoven de Colombia).
